Public Works and Engineering (PW&E) Employees Are Easy To Identify.

Look for the employee's City of Houston photo ID with employee name and number.  Employees may be from a variety of PW&E branches and divisions that provide service to you: Utility Customer Service, Drinking Water Operations, Water Quality Control, and Utility Maintenance are four you may see.

PW&E employees wear blue or white shirts or coveralls with a City of Houston, Department of Public Works and Engineering patch.

Most departmental vehicles are white.  The city’s logo, the department, and the branch displayed on the side.
