City of Houston: Water/Wastewater Bill
Account Number: This identifies your account. Service Address: Address serviced by water meter. Rate/Class: Water/Sewer rate assigned to this service address. No. Units: Number of units for property.
Previous/Current Reading: The previous and current meter readings are used to calculate usage for billing. Gallons: This is the number of gallons you used during the billing period. This is determined by subtracting the previous reading from the current reading. Read Date: The date your meter was read.
Payments Received: Payments received since last billing period. Adjustments: Any adjustments made to your account. Current Charges: Charges for water and sewer usage, including the Add-a-Can fee, if applicable.
Previously Billed Amount: Previous month's bill. Total Payments: Total payments. Total Adjustments: Total of adjustments. Total Current Charges: Total current charges. Total Amount Due: This is the amount you pay.
Billing Date: This is the date your bill was prepared amd mailed to you. Due Date: Date payment is due.
Water Consumption: This is a graph showing your consumption for the current and previous 12 months. Special Message Box: Special message box.
Total Amount Due: This is the amount you pay.
$1.00 Gift to W.A.T.E.R. Fund: If you would like to make a contribution to the W.A.T.E.R. Fund check here and add the amount to your Total Amount Due before mailing your payment. Due Date: Date payment is due.
The “Amount After” refers to the date your payment must be received in our office to avoid late fees.
