Real Estate Branch, led by Senior Assistant Director Nancy P. Collins, Esq., investigates and acquires land and interests required for public use in connection with the implementation of the Adopted Five Year Capital Improvement Plan. The Branch also manages the sale of streets, easements and alleys as well as processes requests for encroachments into streets or alleys through the Joint Referral Committee (JRC) process. Included in these processes, the Branch recommends estimates of value or oversees the estimations for properties that are acquired, sold, or exchanged. The Branch has four sections which accomplish these necessary tasks:
