• Reviews and coordinates all departmental Requests for Council Action.
• Briefs City Council staff on departmental agenda items and responds to related inquiries.
• Serves as departmental representative at all public and business meetings of City Council.
• Coordinates the director’s correspondence and requests for services received by the department.

The Council Liaison, serves as the department’s link to City Council. The Council Liaison works with the administration to schedule the department’s council actions and responds to inquiries from council members or their staff. Additionally, the Council Liaison assists the Chief of Staff and Director in the operation of the Director’s office.
